Workers can earn a Global OSHA wallet card through the Global Outreach Training Program.  The training is designed to emphasize hazard awareness, identification, recognition, avoidance, control, abatement, and prevention.  Workers may attend instructor-led, in-person training classes conducted by a Global OSHA Authorized Trainer or online training classes offered through the Global OSHA Website.  Training involves a combination of mandatory and elective topics.  Mandatory topics are required to be taught in each course, while the elective topics are selected by the Global OSHA Authorized Trainer to adapt to the needs of the intended audience.  These needs may differ based on the nature of the work, locality, country, project, or culture.  Mandatory and elective topic breakdowns are specified in the Global Outreach Training Program Requirements, Policies, and Procedures document.
